Lives Without a Straight Beginning
The Reborn are most strongly associated with Eirlyn, where small communities can be found in secluded woodland valleys, old monasteries, scholarly houses, and settlements gathered around sacred springs.
A Reborn does not view a single lifetime as the entirety of existence. Death remains meaningful, but it is commonly understood as one turning of a much larger wheel.
A new incarnation is not a perfect continuation of the old personality. Each life forms its own relationships, ambitions, fears, and beliefs. What survives are fragments: recurring dreams, instinctive familiarity, flashes of emotion, and skills that sometimes feel older than the body using them.
